I am posting this to help me to decide on the timings for the next term's turn chats. Please choose the option that reflects your location. Thankyou. :)

NYC. The TC time should stay as is, because it gets the majority of the -s in and a few of the +s, especialy the +10-12s.

We've been having the chats at the convenience of us Americans long enough. It is high time that we change the time because times are changing. :)

We lost many Europeans back in the early terms of the first demo game. heck we lost our first president because he tried doing the chat for the convenience of us in the US. Let's not make that mistake again!

Don't worry where we are Mr. President, just tell us when you can play. Those of us who can will be at the chat. Those of us who can't will still be heard in the forums.

how true and well spoken donsig! importance of the citizen cannot be ranked in this poll. So, we have no idea weather any of my compatriots in the us actually will vote on a poll ever again (ok, we have a rough idea, but you get my point). :P

So, whenever you can play, leader, we will try to attend the turn chats! Best of luck to you in the upcoming term.

I remember voting in this same kind of poll back when I joined the democracy game, and here I am, 1400 posts later and the vice presidency later. Kinda makes me have memories...

I live in the central US, and attended when my time allowed. If the turn chats continued to be at the same time, I would be there more often now that I have more time.

I voted even tho I never go to turn chats anymore... Actually I hardly check the boards anymore...
I wonder, in my absence, is there a shortage of dissent? :D
Looks like us Eastern/Central timezone Americans still are the majority, but I agree w/ Donzig on it should be up to the prez.

Central US: GMT -6

The President makes the schedule, and I will be at those chats that I can attend. As it is, I will not make many weekend chats anyway, as I am usually tied up most of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I just have to discuss with curufinwe whether we will need a chat rep.
