I have a question

When i use a mod for Civ4 Vanilla it says i need to be patched to 1.61 but steam says im patched to 1.74 so i dont know what to do to fix this problem i want to use total realism mod but when i go to install it it says the version of my game is less than 1.61

There's no problem with your installation or with steam, the problem is the mod. It's just not up to date, and i guess, nobody will update it.
