I can't seem to upgrade to ArchMagi for some reason in this game. I have loads of mages in Renegade Hill, which even has a Mage's Guild. Plenty of them are level 6 or higher, and I have lots of gold. Yet I don't have the option to upgrade them. I researched the right tech and I have access to reagents on my main island. I know I have a plantation built on it and everything. You can even enter the city screen and see that I have reagents available in my resources pool. So what gives? I don't even have a greyed out button for upgrading. I'm really confused and frustrated because building ArchMagi with air elementals was gonna be a big part of my strategy here given that I can't heal my human units. Save is attached.

It's because you don't have reagents IN Renegade Hill; Renegade Hill isn't connected to your capital. You can get Astronomy in 10 turns, that should do the trick.
