For those that care. :)

I am in the middle of downloading it right now....going to wipe out my 7.3 install and load 8.0 as soon as it is done downloading. Will tell you my opinions then. :)

I just found out that Mandrake-Linux 9.0 came out before Red Hat 8.0....so that is out also! Man, I am going to be burning some CDs! :D

At my jobs we're running Mandrake 8. Great. And of course also Solaris and AIX.... Yeah some dedicated workstations, not only PCs...

YAY MORE LINUX, I think I'll stick with 7.2 though cuz theres no point in having the website down while I install it

PH....already got redhat 8.0...actually, just finished installing it 10 minutes ago. It's different but I haven't gotten much of a chance to peek at it yet!

Mandrake 9! Oh jeez.....here we go again............. :D

Actually, mandrake got screwed! This is the first I heard about the mandrake release, linux was all over the geek news!

And this has been post number 2100! :D

I tried to burn the Mandrake 9.0 ISOs and stupid Nero wouldn't let me. :(
So I'm stuck with my partially dysfunctional Mandrake 8.2 for now. Oh well.

Have you updated Nero to the latest version, Nero55914?

Unfortunately I don't have a burner of my own, I use my roommate's. I can ask if he has the latest version. I suspect the problem is in the 700 mb ISOs as opposed to the old 650 mb versions....

Well, that could make a difference also....you will need 80 minutes CDs instead of 74 Minute ones.
