So, is there a download for this mod yet? Or is it still not to the point where a download makes sense? Even a beta like WHFB released (though preferably usable for BTS 3.19 :lol:) would be nice.

Not yet, all the programmers are being affected by a little thing that I call "Real Life". I am not going to lie to the people here. This is going to be a while yet, if it happens at all.

I'm done moving, but still organizing stuff around here. I hope to get around to coding in a couple of weeks. Well, I hope to be coding next week, but that wouldn't be too realistic.

At the moment I'm waiting for at least the next patch (major AI improvements), and I'll probably give it a couple of days before I'll start (to allow for some quick patched in case something got screwed up). In short, I'm planning to start modding say, 18th of october.

Do you mean FFH2 patch? Because I'd argue about major AI improvements, also you can easily change XML and python because most changes are in SDK or easily tracked :).

I'm playing around with it :D. Still not sure whether to go with 41g or 41j. Probably j, as automated spellcasting is going to be a great boon to get a competitive AI (I know Arda is not going to get a lot of spells, but I've got the feeling that a lot of flavor can be achieved through the spell-system, without calling it that of course ;) ).

It will take some time however to merge everything together, as I'm not yet familiar with all the code.

Yeah, the spell system can be used for a lot of non-spell abilities (it's already used for picking up items and stuff). Maybe those are something else we need to talk about....

Probably, considering it's been two weeks since anything AT ALL happened, and a lot more since anything major.

I'm sorry guys, I'm still swamped with work. Not sure when I'll be able to do something really. Not sure what happened to Berenthor either, so you guys can play the waiting game. You can start with fleshing out some stuff though, like tech-costs, building/unit-costs, where units should appear on the tech tree etc.

Just want to say that I'd like this mod a lot if it comes at some point.
What I mean to say is that it's appreciated. You're making the mod for people like me, and you are making me happy. :-)

And, since I've been playing CIV since 2005, I guess I will still be playing it when the mod is there.. :-)

And, real life is very important no doubt. :-) I see people talking about school, well, I'm that teacher who is a daddy :-)

All we need ATM is discussion, so as long as you guys can get on and post every once in a while that's fine.

Should someone start up a thread or two - maybe unit/building costs?
