a soldier on a bicycle, perhaps as an upgrade of horse mounted units. I just made it because I remembered an image of dutch solders on bikes from the 2nd ww from my history book, from like 5 years ago.

I know the bike doesn't look very good, but I tried the best I could, as I am not good at making models...

Hiya- nice work and an interesting unit. The bike is quite fine, actualy. What I am a bit at odds with is the weapon and the way it is attached. IMO, it best be attached on the soldier's back..

Could go into EFZI I'd say. It could also go into a World War II scenario, as I know for a fact that the Germans had bicycle units.

I also agree with Winter, the bike is for transportation. When in combat the soldier ditches the bike and fights as infantry.

In Vietnam, the Communist forces used civilians to transport supplies on bicycles. I wonder if anyone has designed a unit like that, and how could that type of "civilian"/worker unit assist in the military aspect of the game.

I have a handbook on Viet Cong mines and boobytraps that has some interesting pictures and descriptions of bicycle bombs.
