I enjoy a good strategy sim... Sim City, Stronghold an Ceaser IV and the like. I saw thiasone on the shelf and thought good and hard about it. I like the gaphics and sounds good; but I thought I would ask you Civfanatics. Buy or pass?

I thought about getting one of The Settlers games, but when I researched it I found out that the newer ones are considered not as good as the older ones. I haven't played any of them except for a demo of the first and the second so I don't know more than that.

I enjoyed it, but I was slightly worried at the fact that it moves away from the kind of cartoon-ey feel of the others and it's certainly not better than Settlers 2 (one of my all time favourites).

I would recommend it, it's good. If you can get it relatively cheap then all the better
