Hi guys!
I wonder why the Civilopedia states that destroyer escorts were used in anti-submarine warfare but in LoR these units don't have the ability to see submarine units, i.e. <SeeInvisible>NONE</SeeInvisible>
Any answers to that? :)

Ah, thanks, minor bugs like this are so easy to miss. The text comes from the Wolfshanze mod, which had destroyer escorts being able to see submarines, I removed this ability in LoR as I thought the DE to be older technology, lacking radar or the equipment necessary for anti submarine warfare. However in retrospect, this problably isn't true, and now in LoR there are 2 types of invisible for submarines, deep sea sub, and submarine. I could set it back so that the DE can see regular old submarines, or remove the text. Not sure which I should go with.

What would people prefer, the DE can see subs, or shouldn't be able to?

It's hard to say. From a research cost point of view it takes longer to get the submarine than it takes to get the destroyer escort (starting with railroad, scientific methods & steel). But this doesn't strictly translate into the destroyer escort being available before the submarine. I would let the visibility setting as it is to add some power to vicious submarine fleets. :D The regular destroyer gets available early enough. Until then, the destroyer escort fits its role as a cheap and fast transport ship escort well.
At least the Civilopedia entry should be updated in some way. By the way, its text closely resembles the corresponding Wikipedia entry.
