I am playing an Marathon game using the Giant Earth Map Mod. It is turn 401, 505 A.D. and I am getting a warning message that says I have 99 turns left. Shouldn't a marathon game have 1500 turns? If this was just a case of me accidentally selecting a normal game length I'd be well past 505 A.D. before I received this warning.
Is this some sort of a bug? Should I just ignore it and play on or is it going to go to a time victory in 99 turns?

What Victory Conditions did you have selected? this might have something to do with the religious victory.

I have all victory conditions enabled.

Continue playing untill its over and see what Victory you get. if its a Time Victory then there is a bug.

Oh well I was hoping someone who plays this mod on marathon speed could tell me if this happens to them as well.
Down to 63 turns to go......

I love this mod but i only really play scens. Are you on a scen or the blank map?
Gonna start a game now, havent played GEM in a while and it should be better with revDCM on a blank map.

This bug was fixed with his latest mini-release. You should get that but its also easy to fix yourself. Just open the worldbuilder save for whatever map you player (ancient resources, modern etc.) and you will see an entry for the number of turns for marathon near the top IIRC. Change it from 500 to 0 (or to whatever you want). Setting it to 0 gives the default 1500 turns.

Thanks for the info but it didn't work. I installed the latest version and when I load the game I get a revolutions.ini error and it still says I have 43 turns left.

Now when I start a new marathon game I get my 1500 turns, but I still get the revolutions.ini error and when the game starts I get a BugCore - mod RevDCM not initialized: removing message.
I am using a the BUG mod.....maybe they are incompatable?

nah, everyone gets the message but it is harmless. no difference is made to gameplay as BUG is in RevDCM which is in GEM now. it just reads there are two BUG mods ini's in your mod folder and gets confused but it makes no difference except a slight anoyance at the start.
