I'm using a mac, and have been playing for at least two years, all of a sudden, i can't tech trade. with anyone. any skill level. I havn't tampered with my options menu, I can only presume this is some sort of glitch. any suggestions?

Can you give a little more detail - which version of the game are you playing etc? Have you updated anything recently?

I presume this isn't the same game you've been playing for 2 years (on Ultra-Epic setting!?) ;)

There are two options in the Custom Game screen called "No Technology Trading" and "No Technology Brokering". You can see which options have been configured in-game by opening the VIctory Conditions screen - orange button at top right and selecting Settings. Do you have either of these turned on?
