Recently started playing again in the last month or so and started to realize something and wondered if others thought the same way...

I've noticed, mostly late in the game, once I discover resources like uranium or oil that within a turn or two half the world will declare on me and begin an invasion. Anyone else notice this? Some of the civs that attack are hopelessly behind me too. I had three cvis try and invade with catapults and knights while my infantry mopped them up.

It seemed like they found out I had access to maybe one of the only oil and uranium spawns and they decided to make a grab for it. Seemed kind of silly for thim to attack me with unit 100's of years behind me.

I've also noticed that sometimes certain civs would rather fight to the death. Last night I went to war with someone on my continent only to find they had only a handful of units and no matter what they would not accept peace.

Sometimes I think the AI is AUI (Artificial Un-Intelligence lol)

Would need a save but I think all of this is explainable (Apolistic Palace) or bad diplomacy ;)
