I'm not the most knowledgeable about getting the non-mod custom content to install. I am not even sure some of the stuff I was looking at on another forum is compatible. So...

Are the "new civs" compatible with the Mac version of the game? I was particularly looking at the Star Wars based civ but was curious about all the user created civs in general.

Had the same question about new leaderheads and units but understand from Flintock that they should be as they are just artwork. Again, not much of a gamer so I really have no idea how to install the content.

Is there a rule here against requesting content? I had some stuff that I wish i had the skills (and the programs) to make but I unfortunately don't.

thanks in advance

There are no rules about asking here for mods, but I would suggest that you will probably get more response in the main Customization forums than here. There are not many modders working on Macs, and far more are active on Windows. Needless to say, it's unlikely that the Windows modders will come here looking for work!

Request away, but like Alan said, requests are better heard in the C&C forum. If you felt up to it, there are plenty of free programs to help you make your own content. Two years ago, I didn't even know mods existed, and now I can mod pretty well.

Between working on three films and two other scripts, I barely have time to play Civ4 much less start learning how to mod. :(
