The main storyline is on the initial introduction. Any suggestions are appreciated as this is my first scenario and probably not perfect :D

Espically with an old computer and dialup like what I use, I'd like to make sure I would be interested in the investment of trying to make it work and such beforehand. I like near-future based scenarios, but you have to throw us a small bone of what the whole deal is about. :)

Thanks LouLong:D. You can fix your deficit by setting science to 0. Mexico has most of the techs already.

stalin006, how do you fix it? :)

A new version might be coming soon, after I release other scenarios.

I checked the scenario and found many mispelled countries:

Its VENEZUELA, not Venezaula.
Its PARAGUAY, not Paragauy.
Its ECUADOR, not Ecaudor.
Its URUGUAY, not Uraguay.
Its COLOMBIA, not Columbia.

And Venezuela being the #4 or #6 oil producer of OIL in the world, why does Venezuela only has 1 oil resource?

Anyways nice scenario.

Azale

Yes, I will fix misspellings in the next version. I read my atlas and mixed up the letters.:crazyeye:

I knew I would have some problems with resource distribution, it shall be fixed.

Fixes in the next version:

1.misspellings

2.city names

3.resource disribution

4.add a few extras

due to other projects I'm working on, these updates are behind schedule. Should be done after my next scenario.

Here's the update.

I like the scenario a lot but the problem is althought the idea is good u can't use the oil in the sea because you can't get a road there so after you invade venezuela you have a total monopoly on all oil resources and can win by being the only nation able to build MI and MA.

I know, kind sucks. If I can't fix that then I 'll give more oil to Mexico on land.

By the way, the following countries in the scenario have oil:

USA (texas)
Mexico
Venezuela
Ecuador

So Venezuela shouldn't be the only one with oil. (from what I've read, haven't downloaded it yet).

From glancing at the screenshot, Brownsville and Laredo (I think that's what it is) are wayyyy too big. Brownsville doesn't even have 100,000 people, and Laredo is maybe 35,000.

And, I KNOW there aren't THAT many railroads in Mexico/Central America. :)

Azale
Mar 09, 2003, 06:35 AM
Remember, this is in the future. And Mexico is far advanced.:)

Procifica
Mar 09, 2003, 06:46 AM
Well, I guess that is true. I still just don't see it, as not even the USA has that many railroads today even. :)

Azale

I wanted it to have more of a futuristic feel. I think South America's balanced well.

Where can I find NES alternate History ??

Azale
Mar 17, 2003, 06:26 PM
Alternate History NES is a NES not a scenario:D

Do you know how to play NES's? I still have spots open.

I have a scenario based on it though. Try What if the British had won the Revolutionary War.

Well, I would like to know if someone have or can do a scenario based on the Bolivar's wars against spanish, or an hipotetical invasion of colombia from venezuela in order to restore the bolivar dream of confederate south america.

Thanx.

It would be cool if you included the part of the United States that got taken from Mexico during the Mexican-American War. That way, they could take it back, getting the motviation of extreme nationalism and support from the Brown Berrettes.
