This is the official thread for the city of Morgana. As our nation's newest city, I am (still) the only resident. However, the importance of this city should not be underestimated. Built on top of a great iron deposit, the city will provide the majority of this important resource during the eventual Aztec-Fanatikan War.

News involving this fair municipality will be posted in this post.

I, disorganizer, the knight of lancre, owner of the district of lancre, baron of ankh, announce herewith that all buildings on the waterfront of morgana have to be authorized by lancre district administration (=me).
As you can easily see in the appropriate thread (district of lancre (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33424)), the whole shoreline bordering morgana belongs to my ownings.

I can offer you 2 possibilities:
a) people will have to pay huge amounts of money to visit the ocean in morgana, which will completely destruct tourism there
or
b) the city of morgana will voluntarily rpg-wise join the district of lancre (this will have no influence on the demogame! it only would mean i can take ownership of the underlying tile and include the city into the borders). i will then reduce the rental prices for housing to normal values in the whole district and grant public access to the beach.

i will not influence the running of the city or take advantage of it in any matter. meaning: there will be exactly no influence on the demogame non-rpg part.

in any case, i would like to swap mayorship with you, mayor octavian. my reason is that i will be nearer by my home, lancre castle.
i will offer you the position of lord-mayor of bavaria (acceptance of this by the governor presumed)

well, in fact the city threads are a kind of rpg/demogame mixture. and my only way to officially contact the city. thats why we discussed so long where we should moove them ;-) !

Hmm... Disorganizer, I respectfully reject your proposals. However, it would be a good idea to open a tourist thread in the RPG forum. This is an endover that the city of Morgana needs to undertake by itself, not with the seperate District of Lancre.

Well, ok then. From now on if people would like to go to the ocean, they will have to pay an entrance-fee of 50g/tc at the district of lancre... :-)

As said, we will take this entrance fee back as soon as we get ownership of the tile. After that, small rents will be setup for the residents except for public housing (prox. 10g/tc).

We will not take any influence of the city itself or on the role of the mayor or governor, nor try to influence his decissions.

note also i dont want tile ownership personally myself. i just want the city to join the district of lancre. the ownership and owning rights like renting fees would go to the district! not me personally.

I would at this time like to confirm the appointment of Octavian X as Mayor of Morgana. I believe Octavian X has done a remarkable job as mayor here.
