Hi everyone, new to the forum.

I am a HUGE Civ fan, and have been playing it since Civ 1, though I am probably not the best player, I enjoy it a lot.

Anyway, I bought the vanilla version for mac os x, and have been playing it a a few years. I heard a rumor that you can get expansions for the mac now. Is this correct? Can you get the BTS expansion? How about mods?

Also, I am using a Mac Pro quad 2.66, 4 gigs RAM, and an x1900xt 512 MB video card. Will the expansions still run fine?

EDIT: I also wanted to know if BTS sword was now for mac, if all I needed to do was buy that and I would get everything from the other expansion as well.

Yes, Warlords (http://www.aspyr.com/product/info/8)and BtS (http://www.aspyr.com/product/info/108)are available for the Mac. They'll run on your machine as well as Civ4 does.

Do I need to buy them both, or does buy BTS give the benefits of each?

BtS is all you need; however, it will not give you the scenarios offered in Warlords. You do get the added civs from Warlords though.

If you can, buy them both ! Warlords scenarios are great and Beyond the Sword is really interesting to play :D
