This poll will remain open for 48 hours.
Chieftess Oct 10, 2002, 12:39 PM hehe.. Gonzo sure got himself in there quickly! :D This will be fun watching Gonzo and Shaitan's post count skyrocket. :) Kind of a tough choice...

I wouldn't mind having mine take a dip. I feel like a freak with a postcount that high!
Great Iguanaman Oct 10, 2002, 09:21 PM Hey, ive been here less then a month and look at my post count :)

disorganizer Oct 10, 2002, 11:49 PM I believe we have to spread responsibility. Game I has shown that new brooms sweep good. So i give a "newbie" a chance. Octavian is in position for maybe sometimes president, and vice now, so i think he can work best for the nation there.
Sorry Octavian, but this time i have to vote gonzo.
Octavian X Oct 11, 2002, 12:09 PM Hey, it doesn't matter. But this might increase the price of the mountian you want to by from me:D
Shaitan Oct 11, 2002, 12:16 PM A little present for the new Item Manager (whoever it may be) paid for by the loving Bank of Fanatika and completed by myself awaits you in the Item Manager thread. All transactions through today have had their items pulled out and organized by player.
Kennelly Oct 11, 2002, 12:43 PM Octavian X (can't resist doughnuts)
gonzo_for_civ Oct 11, 2002, 01:50 PM hehe.. Gonzo sure got himself in there quickly! This will be fun watching Gonzo and Shaitan's post count skyrocket. Kind of a tough choice...
I can't just let the spam-fest roll by without getting into this action! :D
I wonder why we actually have an abstain option...isn't that the same as not voting!? ;)
Shaitan Oct 11, 2002, 01:54 PM gonzo: "I wonder why we actually have an abstain option...isn't that the same as not voting!?"
Nope. ;)
gonzo_for_civ Oct 11, 2002, 07:29 PM Could you explain the difference then? :D
Or perhaps there is a minimum vote number that must be reached for a poll to be valid?
Shaitan Oct 11, 2002, 09:18 PM Abstain is included to give people the option of saying "I'm here and participating but I don't choose any of these candidates/options." It is critical for reaching a quorum when one of those is required.
There is no quorum for election polls.
Shaitan Oct 12, 2002, 11:07 AM Forty minutes left and gonzo leads by a single vote. 'Tis the season for close elections!
gonzo_for_civ Oct 12, 2002, 05:02 PM That was very close. Thank you to all who voted! Thank you to octavian for making this a close election to the wire.
Zarn Oct 12, 2002, 06:07 PM I voted for you gonzo, but I didn't think it would have made much of a difference.
Shaitan Oct 12, 2002, 10:15 PM Congratulations, gonzo. Please PM me if you have any questions on the position. Also, I recommend you start your own thread as Item Manager. The existing one is far too cluttered with garbage and you'll want to be able to edit post one of your thread in any case.
