Now, I like the way this poll was put together. Good work, Bill.

Sometimes the AI goes out of its way to screw up a cities location. So for relocation purposes, as there would be no killing and any cultural identity could be duplicated, I voted yes.

Note that city abandonment would be the use of the abandon option, not the use of tactics such as building a settler to move the city.

I'm voting "yes", since I see no reason for a blanket ban on the use of this. It's not something we'd be likely to use lightly, since it gives very little in the way of benefits, but can sometimes be handy for removing unfortunately placed captured cities with low population that, due to low productivity, would take forever to disband via the generally preferable settler/worker method.

Yeah, why not (doesn't mean we've to use it).

Now you tell me. ;) I already voted yes.

But, we should build settlers and workers down to size one, THEN abandon it.

Correct, if possible, CT. Eklektikos has a good point also. There is a smart way of doing these things, and I hope we apply this at the appropriate times.

This poll has reached quorum, and the Government is empowered (14-6) to use Abandon City tactics as required.
