As long as I'm in power, I thought I'd tie up a loose end from our deputy governor legislation.

This poll deals with Section G.9.A.1 of the CoS, involing elections. At the moment, the runner up in Presidential and departmental elections become deputies, but not in governship races. This change would make deputy governors elected as runners up in provincial elections.

current:
Section G.9. Election Polls
A.1. For the departments and the Presidency, the candidate with the second highest votes wins the Deputy position.

proposed:
A.1. For governorhip, departmental, and Presidential elections, the candidate with the second highest votes wins the Deputy position.

If passed, this measure would replace the old Standard with the new, or current with the proposed.

Please vote YES, NO, or ABSTAIN.
