I was the governor of Ameri for three terms, i later faded into obscurity. I was also the Foreign Affairs deputy for half a term after Immortal retiered and Shaitan was the Foreign Affairs leader, he later endorsed me for the new governorship of Ameri. And the rest is history...

Quite a different game back then. We had very few rules, but the discussions were fierce and sometimes very impressive. Obviously they were effective, as we set the stage for a virtual pleasure cruise towards victory for those that came afterwards.;)

I miss that about the first game. I probably had one of the most vocal user's groups. Speaking of which, they're not very active as of late... The Spice Traders Guild and the War Church were the top two. Then I found out I was nominated, and didn't know until AFTER you went for domestic. :) Spent the first turn chat trying to connect... (kept going to an empty room) I still don't know what the vote count was for that one... (or who even nominated me).
