View Full Version : ABC Sentence VI: The revenge of the scandinavian letters.
Love Dec 04, 2009, 02:47 PM Å is a lovely letter!
(the sentence count will be added later, after someone has done the counting.)
you guys should know the deal by now. But as a reminder there is a spoiler.
To quote Izipo, but quote tags are boring.
"Each poster in turn posts a sentence that starts with the next letter in the alphabet (so, knowledge of the alphabet is a prequisite ).
It doesn't have to make sense, and in fact the more nonsense the better.
Everyone can hop on at any time, no need to sign up or ask permission, the more, the merrier.
Usage of 'uncommon' alphabets (such as Cyrillic) although not discouraged, can be annoying after a while.
Xena the warrior princess and Zorro are welcome, but some variations on that would me much appreciated.
When we reach the end of the alphabet (with Z usually), we just start again with an A, and the story, if there's one, continues.
Normal forum rules also apply and the 2-post rule is in effect, but I don't have the power to enforce it, so please restrain yourselves.
The poster with the 1001th post will start the next thread, providing a link to this one in his OP."
DroopyTofu Dec 04, 2009, 03:12 PM But normal letters are much more conformative, and conformity is all that matters.
choxorn Dec 04, 2009, 03:45 PM Conformity is lame, except when it comes to letters.
Yared Dec 04, 2009, 03:51 PM Disdainful it is to be politically incorrect.
Zack Dec 04, 2009, 05:02 PM Except when eating pasta.
remake20 Dec 04, 2009, 05:07 PM Freak, I didn't get to start the new thread!
Perfection Dec 04, 2009, 09:06 PM GAZONGAS!

Love Dec 05, 2009, 09:13 AM I must agree.
Yared Dec 05, 2009, 09:35 AM JUGGER-NUTS, damn those are real! (read this again, and again, and again 'cause it's a looping text)
remake20 Dec 05, 2009, 09:51 AM Kantalope should be spelled like this.
Diamondeye Dec 05, 2009, 12:27 PM Late is better than never - the scandinavian letters will succeed!
Love Dec 05, 2009, 12:30 PM Millions of letters will be written in this thread, that's for sure.
choxorn Dec 05, 2009, 12:57 PM Nah, only if we average more than 1000 words per post.
Yared Dec 05, 2009, 01:02 PM Only looks like Ohly  DAMN you're right I do have something against the Leftist!!
Love Dec 05, 2009, 01:13 PM Please stop then.
choxorn Dec 05, 2009, 01:14 PM Quite so, although only and ohly look kind of like orly.
Zack Dec 05, 2009, 01:15 PM Right you are.
Love Dec 05, 2009, 01:16 PM Say no more.
Yared Dec 05, 2009, 01:25 PM T'was not to be...
Seon Dec 05, 2009, 01:50 PM Ur face was not to be lololololololololololololololololololololololololo lolol (gets shot at by a sniper).
Zack Dec 05, 2009, 06:17 PM Very sad Seon's death was.
remake20 Dec 05, 2009, 07:11 PM Usually if I got to name the thread I would have named it "ABC Sentance Game VI: WTF a K after a P"
Love Dec 05, 2009, 11:20 PM What a scandal, the alphabet is not backwards!
Yared Dec 06, 2009, 01:32 AM Xzibit is happy as always :Dhttp://i499.photobucket.com/albums/rr359/fredzilla22/xzibit.jpg
DroopyTofu Dec 06, 2009, 07:10 AM Yikes, we're almost through our first alphabet cycle!
Yared Dec 06, 2009, 07:18 AM deleted due to two post rule
choxorn Dec 06, 2009, 11:48 AM Because we have fallen two letters behind, I am skipping two letters now.
Zack Dec 06, 2009, 12:06 PM Controversial move there, Mr. Choxorn.
Love Dec 06, 2009, 12:49 PM Damn, that means we never had the chance to an "å".
Yared Dec 06, 2009, 12:54 PM Evermore it mustn't be...
bestrfcplayer Dec 06, 2009, 01:08 PM Froistebite is bad for the brain.
Sprig Dec 06, 2009, 01:11 PM God came down and said "Sprig you have not posted in teh ABC game thread, i will smite you if you don't", so here I am, avoiding being smote.
Love Dec 06, 2009, 01:36 PM Hey, god does not exist!
choxorn Dec 06, 2009, 03:33 PM Indeed he does not.
Zack Dec 06, 2009, 03:39 PM Jesus is disappointed in you two.
Yared Dec 06, 2009, 03:46 PM Kellogs cornflakes, that is where he'll make his appearance!
Catharsis Dec 06, 2009, 03:51 PM Looking at my bowl of cornflakes reveals to me evidence of a divine creator.
RRRaskolnikov Dec 06, 2009, 04:02 PM Man, you put too much faith in your eyes...
Sprig Dec 06, 2009, 05:17 PM Now look here, who was speaking to me if it wasn’t God?
choxorn Dec 06, 2009, 05:22 PM Oh, hell if I know, some dude with a megaphone?
Zack Dec 06, 2009, 05:28 PM Perhaps Jiminy Cricket?

Sprig Dec 06, 2009, 07:00 PM Unbelievable, why is it so hard to accept that God talks to me?
DroopyTofu Dec 06, 2009, 08:13 PM Veery eenteresting. Maybe you're the only one good enough for the voices to talk to?
choxorn Dec 06, 2009, 08:26 PM We are the voices, and we command you to dance!
Seon Dec 06, 2009, 08:33 PM Xis truex. dox notx mindetx myx axxent though.
Askthepizzaguy Dec 06, 2009, 11:38 PM You know, I never thought I'd be posting in a thread like this with such an unusual game that I've never seen before, except for that one time down at this other website I go to (forums.totalwar.org) where in the frontroom I believe it was, there's a game called the "word game", which is actually quite different if you think about it because the game is played somewhat differently (you see, what you have to do is post a random word that is related to the word in the post before you) but it does have a similar theme in that it is mostly random and pretty spammy, but you wouldn't know that because most people seem to make some sort of sense about it and it does cause a chuckle or two, which is actually rather the whole point, unless you're trying to find some greater meaning from a random word game that relates to the universe and our existence within it, and I really would rather not inject religion into a simple game because then that might stoke anti-religious tendencies and then everything degenerates into a political peeing contest where one side is going on and on about how terrible the policies of socialism are, and then the other is droning on and on about the plight of the worker, and then of course you've got the loonies who want to legalize everything and some who want tax-exempt status for their kooky UFO religion, and you can't say it's kooky because then you get called intolerant and politically incorrect and you know I just can't stand not being able to speak my mind in a free country where I supposedly have constitutionally protected freedom of speech and then I get labeled some sort of ogre for exercising that freedom, but meanwhile they're all on about some kind of alien spirits inside your brain and therefore you shouldn't see a doctor, and to tell you the truth I think that's silly but then again people still say "bless you" when you sneeze and it's not like the devil is trying to escape from my body, which is just another example of the craziness which has become normal simply because it's traditional, but to make a long story short, I think that you fellows talk too much, I can't hear myself think, so I'm going to leave now before you talk my poor little ears off.
choxorn Dec 06, 2009, 11:43 PM Zounds, that was the longest run-on sentence I've ever seen!
Love Dec 07, 2009, 12:01 AM Åh, I got to end the alphabet!
Yared Dec 07, 2009, 02:12 PM Äsch! I' got in one myself ;)
Sprig Dec 07, 2009, 02:18 PM Æskthepizzaguy, what you are failing to realize is the inability of several regular contributors to this thread’s to keep a discussion about any topic on track, because as far as I know the longest continuation of a topic was about yellow turtles, kittens and using urine as a dye.
Love Dec 07, 2009, 02:21 PM Ö is the last letter in the swedish alphabet.
Yared Dec 07, 2009, 02:31 PM ø should be somewhere here...
remake20 Dec 07, 2009, 03:24 PM Ah.... how about we just start with "A" again?
Sprig Dec 07, 2009, 03:25 PM But apparently there is some sort of foreign love fest going on.
remake20 Dec 07, 2009, 03:28 PM But apparently there is some sort of foreign love fest going on.
Sorry about the two post rule, but I had to say good pun.
choxorn Dec 07, 2009, 04:38 PM Choxorn sees no pun!
DroopyTofu Dec 07, 2009, 04:38 PM Darn, we're only to the third page, and we're already totally screwed up already.
remake20 Dec 07, 2009, 04:55 PM Enevitably the pun was about how Love's, love of Scandinavian letter is spreading, not a huge pun I guess, but I thought it was kind of funny.
Dumanios Dec 07, 2009, 04:57 PM Found I have Nemo...

DroopyTofu Dec 09, 2009, 07:45 PM Queen Reginold, is used to be his dad, but is now his mom, so Bill has lifelong emotional scars.
Love Dec 10, 2009, 12:07 AM Right you are.

Catharsis Dec 10, 2009, 05:09 PM "Vagina or penis?" is a question you'd then be able to answer.
cardgame Dec 10, 2009, 05:17 PM Why, I think that Bill has a bucket, too, and that he stole it from walrus!
choxorn Dec 10, 2009, 06:09 PM X has nothing to do with the Walrus being Paul.
Sprig Dec 10, 2009, 06:43 PM You can't expect to find a penis under that skirt.

DroopyTofu Dec 12, 2009, 09:07 PM Possibly Octagonal, if I remember correctly. Now what about dodecaheronanal?

Catharsis Dec 17, 2009, 04:52 AM Haven't we a duty to apportion blame based on the thread as a whole, and not just one isolated incident?
Yared Dec 17, 2009, 05:07 AM I'm interested. Go on...
Bartleby Dec 17, 2009, 05:43 AM Jebus had a lot to say about blame.
