I've seen you lurking away in the shadows, don't worry cricketers no-one's going to (too much) make fun of you :D.
Seriously though, who do you think is/was the most complete cricketer of all time. We're talking in every department here; Batting, bowling, fielding, captaincy, winning record, the works.
For me it has to be Sir Garfield Sobers. How many playersu name that could bowl Slow left Arm, Left Arm Chinaman and Left Arm Fast Medium all with excellent delivery? Add to that even more impressive batting which produced both runs on the board and amazement from the crowd with his sumptuos strokeplay. He held the highest score in a test match (365 not out) for years and years before Lara broke it. And who could forget the classic six sixes, my grandad was at that game watching, the look on Nash's face as he ran up for the 6th ball is one thing he'll never forget.
But, of course, someone is going to say Bradman, some patriotic idiot will say Botham, maybe a few will say Kapil Dev or Imrahn Kahn. But for me, Sobers it is.
