I know that most of the MP games will be played during the day, when my dialup connection forbids my playing. Therefore, this thread if for organizing a game to run around 11pm EST, for those of us who just can't play during the day, or are insomniacs.

i am up during the nights a lot but mostly on weekends (including fridays)

why does your dialup forbid you to play?

Dialup uses the phone line, thus making me unable to play because my parents need to make and recieve phone calls.

Such is the life a child...

I got a job to pay for an extra phone line and to help pay for college. :)

So Octavian, you can just get Callwave, the free interenet answering machine can't you? And then call those people on cell phones?

It's mainly laziness and my own tendacy to be stingy...:D

Yeah but then you could be on the interenet and still recieve calls and than still call them back (on cell phones) so you wouldn't have to play at night.

I know how you feel. Virtually the only way to get around that is by buying a new computer and a phone line/cable connection. That way you can play while you parents talk.

Add in the fact I couldn't squeeze a dime out of my parents cold dead figures, cable connections aren't likely.

Actually, my dad got this annoying little thingie that tells me when someone calls, though I do have to disconnect from the internet...

I wake up in the afternoon and play Civ all night anyway, why not give it a shot? Let me know... (EST, broooaaadband)

I'm just getting off the mids shift (rotating shiftwork), so I can play tonight. My skill level is regent. Probably only late nights for two to three days, though, so if you want to play a game that runs for a week I'm out.

I'm in if it is good with you guys. Since I am in Hawaii, I usually play on-line when it is the wee hours for everyone in the EDT...:)...Don't sweat the distance though, I have broadband and a <250 latency. My gamespy name is mauiduck and I usually play Regent btw. Thanks and keep me in the loop via the board.

Actaully, I'm still waiting for Amazon to send my copy of PTW. I probably shouldn't have chosen free shipping...

I'll be able to play on weekends. Who needs sleep anyways. Besides I've got blinds in my bedroom for sleeping during the day.
