okay this strategy is quick but can increase your gold up to 100+ gold per turn-------THAT IS ALOT OF GOLD!!

This strat requires you to have some muscle early game which means militaralistic civs own using this strat. Espcecially since they star with war treaining bonus. Unfortunately one of my enemies were zulu and they are a #$% to play against early game because of those @## impi warriors 1 / 2/1 . They are togh only because of their defensive value.

Made city 1 on any square that had like 2 shields for more work output.

Cranked spearmen

used 1rst free worker to make roads to all surroudning resources was like 2 cattle, and like 1 wheat field. Then i scouted looking for horses and iron resources.

Found horses and made colony, then made settler from capitol to create 2nd city next to horses. I then started cranking out horsemen. I HATE THE FACT THAT IT TAKES LIKE 15 TURNS TO GET 1 HORSEMEN!! haha I also researched Horseback Riding at the same time. After that, Iron Working, which means i desperately started looking for iron but could not find any. Gosh Darn it!!

After going to war with the Zulu like 10-20 turns they desperately wanted to stop war since i wearing wore their war stricken civ more and more into poverty. They were willing to do anything!!! hahaha. The zulus were so desperate they allowed me to muscle 50 gold per turn out of them for 20 turns. I wonder if I could have got more from them. THIS SERIOUSLY CRIPPLED THE ZULU'S RESEARCH AND EXPANSION ATTEMPTS. They were pawns of my civ to do my bidding.

Next i attacked the indians since i had like 2 horsemen, and a few archers, and spearmen. I knew i could not take their capitol so i attacked their weaker outer cities and conducted espionage in their capitol to cause a revolt.

This strat was working wonderful especially since my treasury was soaring like a eagle on hallucigenetic drugs

my only mistake was i attacked the indians too soon after bullying the zulu's which meant i got overtaken easily by worn warriors and seriously under-guarded expansion cities by the indians.

damn those indians.

I still recomment that people try this strat to find improvements. all suggestions and comments are welcome. I urge everyone that reads this post, try the strat. It is one of the funest things you ca do early game.

I was wondering how you got 50 gold per turn early in the game.

I guess if you are doing espionage to cause a revolt, it's not really that early and now I wonder why you are using horsemen this late in the game?

Ok just a few things.

First of all no AI civ makes 50 gold per turn in the ancient era. You obviusly need the new patch because you are experiencing the big which they will give you money they do not have.

Second, I know of now espionage you can do to a capital in the ancient era that would cause a revolt. Care to explain?

So basically install the new patch, and try to read some strat articles. From the sound of it you are playing chieftan level and are posting strats that aren't very good or people already now them. Check the war academy. And remember, get that patch 1.29!

:whipped:

btw, connecting cattle and wheat won't help you much. It's no resource, just bonus terrain.

I think maybe his treasury wasn't the only thing soaring like a eagle on hallucigenetic drugs.

halluci'genetic' drugs sound like fun.
