Will everyone have to have their own cd when playing on LAN and if so can the cd be copied and i now it is illegal but at my school we are wanting to have a tournment and we only have one cd and i am wanting to now if it can be copied.:confused: :confused:

That sounds like fun. I wish I could get somthing like that organized at my school. You might have to play hotseat if it is not possible to burn the game. Although i don't see any reason why it wouldn't be.

I think they have Safedisk on the CDs... it prevents burning.

To the best of my knowledge you only need the CD in the drive to load the game, so you put the CD in one computer, load the game, take the CD out, put it in a different computer, load the game and rinse and repeat.

Since you don't need the CD to actually start or join a session this should work if the computers are in close proximity to each other. This might cause some slow down though have only tried it briefly at my home over my network.

What echodude010 says should work on a lan as the CD is only used at startup.
