In the announcement trailer a few quotes are listed, who said Build courage when courage seems to fail... and who said I never learned how to tune a harp or play a bla bla bla...
Would be nice to know, cause they will most certainly be in the coming game

Hope Leonard Nimoy is back to do more tech quotes and maybe narrate certain bits :viking: (supposed to be vulcan ears!)

Nice, thank you! But who are they and witch civilization do they belong to?

The trailer topic addresses all of this. This topic is really unnecessary.

NO, you're wrong! (:

His voice adds a wonderful touch to the game, the other one, witch narrated litterature or artistic, was really bad. Why did the switch narrator anyway?

Nimoy was great. But it's a whole new game that deserves all new voice work.

It was Sid Meier who voiced the quotes for the new BtS techs :)

Oh my, i really didn't thought so.. He doesn't have the right voice for the job, but why did Sid narrate the BtS techs?

Strictly speaking this was actually in Prussia. This quote is from a speech made by Bismarck in 1849. The German Empire was formed in 1871.

Nimoy was fantastic, I hope for Civ V they come up with another narrator of equal skill (I'm thinking either Ron Pearlman or Malcolm McDowell would be great choices).

I think that Malcolm McDowell or Ron Perlman would be great choices! I'd also like a great British actor to read them as well, someone like Sir Patrick Stewart, Sir Derek Jacobi or Sir Ian McKellen :)

Ron Pearlman and Malcolm McDowell are 2 of the most memorable voice actors I have heard in any video game. There are obviously other great choices, but those 2 would really give a great feel to the game.

@Arakhor, Malcolm McDowell isn't British enough for you (and yes Patrick Stewart would work too)?

Oh, of course Malcolm McDowell is British, but I do like my Shakespearian actors :)

There was a thread a while back about who else could do tech quotes. I still have to agree that Morgan Freeman would be an awesome choice!
