I am starting a new PBEM based upon other experiences were games stall do to people having things to do in real life:rolleyes:. Sign up for this game if you have a lot of free time at night on the weekdays, and a little on weeknights(Night is based on Central time period. You will not be excluded if you live in a distant time zone if you can play at this time.)

UKSubs - Ottomans
Toasty - celts
Just Bishop - udecided

This will be on a tiny map so only three more people can sign up.

Well, I'm around most nights and it appears Addicted is going to be real slow, so I'm game to be the Ottoman Empire. Two more players and hopefully I can get a turn in at some point this week.

You are in UK. Well after thinking about it for a while i decided to limit this to 3 human 1 AI to speed it up a little more. So only one spot left.

To be honest, I'd rather wait an extra day or two for a fourth human player rather than the AI.

I will play as the Celts.

Ok it seems as if we are full (someone else emailed me about the game so we do have 4).

Four people is far better for diplomacy than three, so this should be a fine game indeed.

Ok then it is time to set up a schedule for tomorow night. I should be open from 6 Central on:)

I will be around from 7:30 PM CST on tomorrow and Thursday, somewhat earlier the rest of the weekdays.

Toasty what about you, remember in this PBEM you must be available for at least 3 weekdays for some heavy civin:)

Actually I'm extremely busy, my workday is from 6 am to 6 pm and I'm entirely unvaliable on Saturdays...

After six on the weekdays would be fine unless you have somthing else to do. However if you are very busy this is not the PBEM for you. Im sure that there will be others poping up or you could start one. But this PBEM is meant to go at a very fast pace:)

I just sent the game to UKSubs. Tiny pangea, 60 water, all else random but from what i see it looks arid. I should be back here around 9 at the latest but prob earlier. And i will be here till about 7. Good luck to everyone. You're gonna need it;)

well it looks like it stalles at toast(aka the weakest link;)). i guess just meet back here tomorow at 8 ct again and hope he is here. Hopefully toasty is here tomorow so i dont have to flame him;)

Just to let you know I'm a bit under the weather... dunno how long I'll be up tonight. I was going to apologize for holding the game up, but I haven't gotten a file yet.. I'll keep checking my email for a little bit. I'm gonna be in and out while this bug runs its course.. I'll try to keep up, honest. :)

Hey toasty, if you even look at this thread any more we would like to finish round 1 please. If you are having some kind of difficulties with playing the game please tell us. I wouldn't be flaming you so much(or little) if it were not for the fact that 2 other people are waiting to play the game. I personally don't care if this game keeps going as I have 3 other games to fall back on. So if you do decide to join the game please post here when you will be available next. If we can get going on this game and arrange a time to meet we might even be able to use the new chat (I could be a mod:)) other wise this game will continue to go at a snails pace.

P.S. scratch the thing about a snails pace, we are eating the snail's dust.

Backup or sub, I'm flexible (But I will not trade 3 lux's, 1 resource and a tech to a civ that has the only lux I'm missing) for the most part.
