Is there a way to resume a multiplayer game that is saved? For Example my friend hosts a game. After we play for 3 hours he saves, and we quit for a while. Then, we want to continue where we left off. We then go to multiplayer, then we can't seem to find a way to load the game we saved with both of us connected. Is there a way to do this? Thanks in advance.

The person with the sae file should host an MP game, once you get to the screen to select your civs and stuff, select "Load Game" from the game type drop down menu.

I have had problems with this if there is slow ping times, you have to be patient. You may need to click the number next to your plaer's name if it does not come up as the correct civ, that will cycle through the options.

My wife and I played for a few hours and saved the game. Now we want to restart the saved game and I am unable to figure out how to re-load the previous game. Please give detailed instructions. Thanks.

Here are a few steps....I hope they help.

1) On the computer where the game is saved, have the person start a multiplayer game.

2) Now join the game from the other computer, and have both people select the races that they where.

3) Now on the hosts computer, there is a game drop down menu called "Game Mode" along the left hand side of the screen. (We are still in the Mutliplayer game screen before you launch the game.)

4) Under Game Mode, select the option that allows you to load a saved game.

5) From there you should be able to finish any desired settings and launch the game.

I hope this helps. I've had some problems getting the game to run smoothly. Take care and happy Civing :)
