OK guys, I'll be starting this one, and passing it on, soon. KD can catch up on Monday. This thread will be for posting our summaries.

Is the current turn order OK for everyone? If donsig and Bill want to switch, tell me now, after we start its fixed.

Also, the CFC chat room is a good place to "meet" for gaming sessions, and to coordinate strategy. Or just spam. :p

KD - In the begining, its easier to e-mail the game to the next player. Later, if it gets too large, we will have to upload it.

Turn 1 - Carthage

We settle on our starting position, without moving. A decent spot, nothing special. When our border expands, we shall have wine.
Decide to research pottery, need a granary here.

King Bill looked down from his vantage point on a hill toward the green grass and coast line below him. There was an abundance of wines and wheat in this enclosed valley.

He was not fully impressed with his current location, and ordered the caravans to move just a little further northeast to find the perfect settling location.

The band of Roman settlers found themselves in a spot they did not like. Too far from the ocean, yet too close too the ocean! :crazyeye: Forests to the south so the workers are sent north to scout the territory. The settlers decide to move west...

I win! :p I am the only one left with a city. :cool:

Hi guys!!! Glad to see you all back "together" again! :) I don't have PTW yet, but I am getting a new interest in CIv3, so I might buy it soon! I have a good expereinces with Civ2 PBEM, and I look forward to Civ3 PBEMing with all of you.

Oh, well, look what the cat drug in! Long time no see stranger! Let us know when you get PTW. I *think* multiplayer will be fun. :)

Finally gotten PTW, for S$49.90 and they didn't even provide for a CD case! :mad: :rolleyes: And it was only S$5 less than what I paid for Civ3...

Anyway, founded Chang An, the City of Eternal Peace (yeah right :p) after consultations with Taoist priests and fengshui geomancers, where two 'dragon veins' intersect. :) My part of the world looks pretty good... :yeah:

Errr, while I was playing around with the terrain sets in PTW, loading up SP games and so on, and then loading up the PBEM game that I sent to joe, accidentally stumbled onto this, err, rather serious bug.

I know where Bill and donsig are now..... :blush: donsig's to my immediate east and rather near while Bill is a long way away on the other side of the pangaea....

Anyway, the bug had been reported by someone earlier in the bugs section. Shld we restart this? It'd be a pity since I got a really great starting position (rivers!). :(

My new location is slightly better than my old one, so hopefully yours is too.

When we had to restart, I was counting on being 100% surrounded by jungle...:lol:

King Bill was dizzy from the world changing so quickly.

He decided it was best to settle immediately. His tribe had access to many bonus grasslands, a river, and soon, dyes.

The little band of Roman settlers begin wandering since the grass is always greener...
