As before, you can find the Registry of City Names (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?postid=546347#post546347) in our Front Office.

One official request... at the end of each turn, please include the Date with the end of turn summary statistics in the chat log (ie. End of Turn 1 (270 BC), etc....).

Things to fix before anything else is done
Note that the settler/spear pair in Eklektochtitlan is set to automove to their originally approved destination (spice hills). If the redirect measure to send them down to the dyes is approved you will need to activate them both to cancel the automove before and unit movement is done.

The worker north of Octavinium is on the wrong tile. Stop his progress and move him up to the fur tile where he should build a road.

Workers
Most worker crews are building roads to connect the various cities. Continue with that as our first priority is to bring all cities into the trade network. The two working the game tile north of Bremershaven will be done in one turn. They should then build a road due west from Bremershaven (towards New Falcon's Nest) as this will be our military artery for bringing newly built units to the Japanese front. The other worker at Bremershaven will be done in 5 turns. He should then assist the West Pike road builders.

The last road segment between Octavinium and New Falcon's Nest is the fur tile. Make sure to check for any possible entertainer removal after the new luxury is connected. Same thing when Spice City is founded.

Possible Government change
Evaluate this poll (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=36736) for the conditions necessary to enter anarchy en route to Monarchy. For a condition to apply it needs to have the support of more than half of the voters, minus any abstain votes.

Tile use
Bremershaven should use the newly improved game tile when it gets the new pop next turn. The growth of the city may put the new pop as working a grassland tile. Defer to the governor's instructions, of course, if he has different tile usage notes.

Continue building Military Units and replacing sword garrisons with spears. Move Swords to the Japs' south eastern boarder (as was done last t/c by Shaitan). And hold Horses east of Tokyo outside the Japanese borders. If the Japanese colonies began to trap the Horses in their cultural borders you may want to pull them back, I leave that decision to you should the need arise.

Since Fionn has not posted the build queues due because of the forum outage. As Lt. Govenor I shall post the instructions for him :). Here is the build queues :).

from Fionn
Additions in Green
City Build Queue

Morgana Harbor [c], Horseman [6], Spearman [4], Horseman [6]
Strider's Haven Spearman [c], Barracks [10], Horseman [15]
Penguin Spearman [c], Spearman [10], Horseman [15]
Dacula Switch to settler then build, spearman, horseman, switch barracks to spearman or horseman whichever the military leader decides
The Burrow Keep Current Queue (library, speaman and switch barracks to spearman or horseman whichever the military leade decides)
Palanthus Keep Current Queue (spearman 18)
Padmativa Keep Current Queue (spearman 18)

In Palanthus move the worker in the fields onto a wheat tile so the city grows in 6 turns rather than 8

I had to go with what Fionn had. My suggestion would be to build libraries in border cities that are in risk of a culture flip. (Not sure whitch city is the border city since I do nat have a map at the time of posting this instruction).

All of the embassy & RoP polls failed to reach quorum (quite possibly due to the PI taking place and due to the forum outage earlier today). Nonetheless, there is sufficient support for establishing an embassy with Babylon, India, Russia and the Iroguois. Also, we should explore RoPs with Russia, Babylon, the Iroquois, and England. The actual results are:

Civ Embassy? RoP?
Russia 5/2/0 (Yes) 9/1/0 (Yes)
Babylon 8/0/0 (Yes) 9/2/0 (Yes)
Iroquois 6/2/0 (Yes) 5/2/0 (Yes)
India 8/0/0 (Yes) 5/4/0 (Yes)
China 6/4/0 (Yes) 4/3/0 (Yes)
Azteca 2/9/0 (No) 0/8/0 (No)
England N/A 9/2/0 (Yes)
One last note, the Military Dept has indicated to the ministry that it does not believe our current military is sufficient to sustain a war with Japan at this time. Therefore, the Ministry has no declarations to make at this time. However, we will be watching Japan very, very closely.

Edit: corrected the poll summary to read failed to reach

End of my first full chat as DP! I'm still alive! I'm awaiting a PI!

Log (http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads2/%23demogame.zip)

The chat started smoothly enough. A lack of good domestic instructions sent the chatters into the Great Settler Debates. After a domestic deputies instuction's were overriden, New PDX (the happiest place on Earth) was founded in 250 BC. A new settler was is on it's way to dyes right now. Another settler that had no real discussion is currently northwest of Valhalla. Embassies were established. This Zip file contains the images we gathered from the new embassies. (http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads2/Embassies250bc.zip)

Also, sorry I forgot about the preturn. Considering it was a two hour one turn chat, it doesn't exactly matter.

Repestfully Submitted by your pooped out Vice President,
Octavian X
We should do this again some time!
