I think Ajax has the best poul they could get into. Of the Italian and Spanish team I wanted AS Roma and Valencia because I think Ajax would have the most chance against them. I had prefered Manchester United over Arsenal though. In the end it doesn't even really matter cuz Ajax is the big outsider anyway, and will probably not even finish 3rd.

If you want my sincere opinion, I think you will be eliminated. :(

For group A I pick Inter and Barcelona.
B is for Arsenal and Valencia.
In C it's Real Madrid and Milan.
Finally for group D...hmm... Juventus and Coruña (any comments Dell19?;) ).

But as allways a few surprises will ocur. Each group seems great.

exactly, and I would be very satisfied with a 3rd place, but even that will probably not happen.

Well naturally I picked Man UTD to go through with Deportivo as Juventus will probably lose... Then Real Madrid and AC Milan, The other two groups should be very close although I did vote for Valencia, Roma, Inter and Barca.

Well I like the order in group D as willemvanoranje has put it down :D, okok, basel will probably finish last but it will be a hell of a spectacle in the joggeli (basel's statium).

It IS the best group if you consider "attractive opponents". (Allthough Barca and MU would have been even better). But I don't see Ajax win from AS Roma and Valencia. Arsenal can be defeated by Ajax, with some luck. All in all Ajax is an outsider, together with AS Roma. IMHO Valencia and Arsenal will be the winners and Ajax and Roma will be gighting for place #3!

Voted:
Inter, Barca, Valencia, Arsenal, Juve, Real Madrid, Depotivo and MU

We have different opinions. I can see Ajax defeat AS Roma, Valencia will be very, very tough, but points (from draws) can be getten, but I don't give Ajax a lot of chance against Arsenal, especially not at Highbury.

I don't think so! Roma will play like Inter (and Juve against Feyenoord) and we have seen what happens in such games... Ajax defense is not capable to perform at 100% all 90 minutes. Valencia will be tougher. I consider them the best of the group. Ajax forwards might have a (small) chance against the Arsenal defense IMHO...

thought of that too, but I still take Inter a lot higher than AS Roma. Roma only has Montella, Inter has Crespo and Vieri. Ah well, we'll see. Valencia...well, I don't like em, but of all Spanish teams I think Ajax has most chance against them, although Barca would've been ok as well. Arsenal...well, it's true that the style is good for Ajax, but they're soooo strong....

Yup, I agree about that! Are you going to the games. A Friend of mine is going to see 5 out of 6! (No valencia, to far away, Arsenal is nearby and cheap flying and Roma can be done by a 16-hour high speed car-trip!)

I agree with Kasperus:

A: Inter and Barça
B: Roma and Valencia
C: Milan and Real Madrid
D: Manchester and Deportivo

I'm happy with this Spanish's teams power. Near all posters have said that all Spanish teams will pass.

I hope our national team will be great some day :D

A - Barcelona, Inter Milan
B - Valencia, Arsenal
C - Real Madrid, Dortmund
D - Deportivo, Juventus

I don't think Barca or Inter will be troubled in group A but the other 3 groups could be pretty tight for the second spots. Roma to challenge Arsenal in group B, and in C and D toss-ups between Dortmund/Milan and Juventus/Man U.

the spanish team could be the bets in the world if they learnt how to play together they have great individual skills but always seem to fall short for some reason

Maybe wishful thinking, I'd like Ajax to win the stupid Champions League, after all.
Second to Leverkusen, that is.

Group B:AS Roma and Arsenal
Group C:Madrid and Milan, though they're better in this group Dortmund has no chance as well
