Looking to get a really laid back game going. By this I mean no rush, just try to get a play in and send it off to the next player.

I'm interested, as long as there are no AI. I'd like to play either the Ottomans or Spain, as I'm playing Carthage in another PBEM.
We'll probably want either a Tiny or Small map, but I have no preferences as to the other settings.

I'm in as well and would like to stick with my standby the persians :)

I prefer small maps to tiny myself.

Only thing I see as a problem thus far is, I don't mind some AI interaction, it throws a nice little chance of an odd twist in there.

As for map size, if we play small or tiny, then AI is defintly out. I've always enjoyed the HUGE maps myself. hehehe, that's just bcuz I ply the earth scen. a lot.

Civ's : Celts, Carthagians, Jap's

All we need to determine is how many people we want to play, wether we want any AI or not and the size of the map.

I'd vote for a small map with fewer players. That way, the odds of getting successive turns in is better. Accelerated startup sounds like a good idea also. Maybee an elemination game??

Well it looks like we have 4 and most want smaller map, I like the idea of accelerated and if we can all agree and get rolling it could be good. I am fine with starting whenever.

As long as I'm persian I don't care about the other settings although it would be nice if you posted all relevant info after you make the game.

The 2 PBEM games I'm in where we had random civs I got the Indians (Yuck) and the English (Worst Civ Ever. Period.)

Any idea on when we might get started?

Soon, I hope. If the thread originator doesn't show in a few days, maybe we can grab another player (since most PBEMs seem to be 2 or 4 player deals) or just start with what's down in the thread.
