I bite my nails about once a week and sometimes color them blue or pink.

I use nail clippers and a file every 1-2 weeks. I cut off the whitish portion of nail at the tips.
A have a tendency to cut around the sides, which leads to hang nails :(
I also use a fail to smooth out the rough spots (they catch on my clothes and are scratchy.)

I chew my nails ans sometimes I go too far and make my finger bleed.

Nail clippers whenever I notice the need, I guess every two weeks or thereabouts.

Used to chew my nails but suddenly stopped at one point many years ago.

I clean them indifferently (only really make an effort if I've been handling something nasty).

I have more than once experienced the joy that is ripping off a nail (or at least part of one). I have also experienced ingrown toenails that required medical attention on a couple of occasions (years and years ago).

I find it interesting that 6 people chew their nails, while only 4 people chew their nails.

I tend to chew my nails, but sometimes I use scissors to cut my nails. For the feet I have to use scissors, since I'm not that flexible. But I always tend to clean my nails well. I hate dirt behind them

You catch it on something, you pull, and it tears off.

It's sort of unpleasant.

A nail on my right food once fell off. It didn't hurt, actually.

I clip as needed. Pretty much every several days one or another is long enough to clip. I keep them very short, and a few times have accidentally done it painfully short. I have had nails ripped off.

Same here. In a twisted way, it's feels somewhat good.

I can usually go a week before I have to clip them again. After that I risk breaking them at work or something.
