This is a new kind of title, instead of having the boring, Civilization III and the "Load Scenario", New Game and stuff, I modified it very nicely...Here are the instructions for changing to my modified version...

INSTRUCTION:

First go to Infogrames/Civilization III/ Art and delete or rename a file called 'title'. (If renaming it, best to rename it title-original). Then put the new title in it's place, and if the new title isn't renamed title, you won't have a title and the game will, perhaps close down.

I don't know how to....

If it replaces the main menu screen, just go to that screen and press PrintScrnSysRq - located just left of scroll lock and just right of backspace. Then open up any graphics program and press ctrl-v to paste it in, then save as a jpeg and attach it to a new post.

I am not sure the zip is working. It appears that you send us a .lnk file, instead of the actual PCX.

Could just be me though.

It's not a case of fixing the file. You can't turn a .lnk into .pcx. You have to upload the proper file so we can d/l it.

um...I don't know how to do that.

post a new reply, and in the upload box, find the PCX file you edited (in your art folder) and select that. Dont select a shortcut that you made to the file.

You dont use HTML. When you cick the "post reply" button, there will be an upload box on the page, click "Browse", search for your file, and click open.

No HTML is needed.

I don't understand your first zip file, located in your first post. It has SnoOpy's title screen and the original civ3 title screen. You are not taking credit for SnoOpy's work are you?

Most of you who know me, know that I am generally on the side of keeping these forums as amicable as possible, but this guy is pushing all the right buttons. It bothers me to even write this because I assume his whole point is just to annoy us all. But I can't keep quiet anymore.

This guy is an idiot. I doubt that the image posted by GIDustin is his work, he has cried wolf too many times. I find it more likely that he posted the original splash screen and claimed it was new. Not sure exactly what his motivation is, but I really think we should all avoid any thread posted by Sebsage as if it were infected with the Plague. I know for my part I shall never view another thread that he starts.

Or you could be like me and subscribe to them for the pure humor factor.

I don't know what GIDustin got ahold of but I have no reason to lie, the picture that I downloaded from your post is the Original Title screen.

King of Sebersia I just thought of summin, how is it POSSIBLE that you could have made the title screen and at the same time have the Blackbelt unit accredited to your name? I personally don't see how that works. The NEW titlescreen just doesn't seem like something you would make. Just a thought.

Please put the link I have in the above post on the first post in this thread. The zip you posted is not the right one.

I made the Blackbelt LONG before the Title, I never posted it up, because it's poorly made. So, I was just fooling around with mods and made this one :D
