Not bold enough to pop that hut yet, with my luck its angry barbs.

Its hard to see from the angle, but theres a river in front of Tenochtitlan.

I'm happy. Now lets hope you dont end up in jungle-land...;)

I didn't know that e-mailing the same game to eachother you could use different mods.

Yep. Terrain mods are specific to each PC, not the saved game. ;)

Exploring reaveals some decent terrain for building.

Found silk and 1 incense, a cow and some wheat.

Turn 8 - settler in 3 turns, warriors exploring south to find KD of the Ottomans. ;)
Pottery 1 turn, should I go wheel or iron next?

Thanks for Masonry, we sent you Pottery, Cerimonial Burial and Warrior Code.

The Wheel will be done in 7 turns, and I'll send that too.

Once you get writing, we can start an RoP, to use each others roads.

Map making should be your goal, while I will get us Ironworking and Horseback Riding.

I will also start a road toward you after I get 2 more cities built.

Settler in position, 2nd city goes up next turn. Wheel in 6 (maybe 5 after new city is up) and exploration begins in earnest with the addition of a new warrior. Found a hut to your far west already.

Monterrey founded on the bay, incense nearby. Dropped research time from 5 to 3 turns, nice.

Mexico City (yes, changed it again) will kick out 1 more warrior then back to settler. I want to lay down 3 more cities quickly, I have spots already picked out for each.

I will start a road through the thick-stuff to link up our civs, after that.

Started settler in Mexico City after new warrior finished. Exploring east and west, since you are heading south already.

An odd thing, the 3 barbs from the hut did not move nor attack.
Perhaps they are from Wisconsin and are frozen. :hmm:
2nd hut spotted as well.

2nd city founded. :) Need some work though...

Building another warrior to explore eastwards. Going to build a ring of cities around Constantinople. Already planned for a site westwards, above the cattle.

Lots of jungles... :(

Can we make it a point to log into the chatrooms (#civ3mp, sometimes the other is rather crowded...) the same time we log onto CFC? 'Cause sometimes I see you're online and then have to wait for like an eternity before you 'see' me... :)

PS I have DL and am using the 1.14f patch. ;)

Received horseback riding fr our friendly Aztec allies. Mapmaking in 10-11 turns.

English got another city up; they're also building the Pyramids for me. :)

Warriors exploring east. Planning to build another city south of Bursa, where the two rivers meet and another NE of Constantinople. Two settlers on the way.

Barbs attked Bursa, only to povide target practise for my now vet spear. :D

I found the Spanish (which was really funny after adding my new avatar).

Thet have a warrior in Iroquois vacinity, and are cautious.

Going to build a couple more of cities, before making concrete plans to 'settle' England. :mwaha:

Got incense to the SW, dyes and gems to E, ivory just outside Edrine, silks to N.... :D Will plant two cities to grab the dyes and gems later.

Warrior in far SE had sighted Greek city borders BTW.

My 2nd settler (prod at Edrine) will head out for those dyes... Already got a warrior outside the Greek borders prowling... Likely they'll settle the river area, before getting to the dyes. ;)

And the gems are just a bit further afield. And the incense are just outside my newest city's borders (or was it 2nd newest?) in the south. :D
