Has anyone else noticed that bench players point totals aare added in to the team scoring totals? Is this the way it's supposed to work and, if so, why have a bench category in the first place?

I don't think it's the bench, it's the "extra" slots that are added.

I answered this on the Yahoo! site. If you have a player that is active on Monday and then you bench him Tuesday, if you look at the matchup screen after, the most recent position will show.

In other words Griffin, Payton and Houston were all active before this day, but were moved to the bench and show up on the bench. Those are points in the past.

A player on the bench that day can not get points, but a player on the bench who already had points previously still keeps them.

You do know you can move players to and from the bench daily right?

I didn't know that.

Yeah, every day you can move players around so that you can maximize your scoring.
