I just watched a report on the French TV. They were talking about violent games. Oh I was not really surprised by anything now but that time I was starting to worry. They were interviewing a family, where a 4 year old kid playing counter strike. But the most alarming was that he:
_ was very good at this game, even better than his 13 yo brother!
_ knew all the weapons names (glock, sniper, etc..). Yes.
_ played online and even fragged a lot of other players.
_ he was excellent using the sniper rifle. He headshot a lot of guys. The reporter camera could record his game.

No you are not dreamin. 4 years old kid. Now I'm still wondering how he could become such a player at this age. When I was 4, I didn't even play any game, not even tetrinet. So I'm really worried by such kids. Of course he says it's just a game, but if he starts being an expert sniper at an early age, what if he was not totally mentally sane? I wouldn't imagine...

Scary. I think that has to have some negative impact on your life, even if violent games don't have much impact. At 4 years old I was playing tag.

I don't remember what I was doing at 4 years old, but I do know my family didn't have a computer.

This is really disturbing.... A 4 year old kid??? But I think it's bound to happen; this being the so-called Information Age. :(

Yep computer games do have age limits and at 4 counter strike really shouldn't be being played...

BTW i just have to say that counterstrike is an excellent game.

Hmmm....interesting. He will be a rich, man, when he grows up if he cultivates that gaming ability. Mark my words. :)
