I have made Leaderheads for Alexander the Great Scenario (http://www.geocities.com/civalexander/). I still have to make static PCX files, but I hope it wont take long.

I would suggest Porus - he'd be a good generic leader for a modern african civilization - something sorely missing in civ3 right now

He's from India, but could be from Africa as well;)

I say Porus too... just because e is dark skinned and could be used as an African or Indian/polynesian.

I like Spritridetes and Azimilik....to be honest i think they are all great.
May-be you could make them with nutral backgrounds and armor so that they could be used for western European civs for a packed out EU2 type scenario.

I'm using 3dsMax.

I'd be happy if I've had more time to do that all animations and your wishes, but in january I have lots of exams so - don't count on it:( Maybe I'd do something, maybe
