Can you play a scenerio in a PBEM? I would assume so, but I want to make sure (so I don't try to start one and be embarrassed ;) ). Nothing would be more fun that a WW2 scenerio, which is what I want to start. We could have alot of players, because the turns would be long and exciting, so getting a turn a day or less would be fine.

FINAL LINEUP:

Me--->England
Eli--->Spain
Wildfire--->Germany
Toasty--->France


Basic Info:

Probably latest Phoenix's European map, 6 human players MAX, the rest will be AIs. Any alliance is good (i.e. can be unlike history) but any ganging up (i.e. Toasty, wildfire, eli, and stalin all agree to take me out) will be frowned upon. Regular victory conditions, and the winner will have to conquer either all of Europe or all human opponents, whichever comes first to win.

mmmmh.........is it from 1939? if so ill be deutchland!!! (germany)........it would had been cool if we had played on my WW2 euro ront scenario, but anything will do........never mind, i just realised that scenario around 12 players wuold be neded, so nope, count me out

I don't want to start an official thread, because we haven't gotten word if this is possible. If it is, I'd like someone to tell me how to set it up; I've never admined before.

This will be a good game if possible, because there is a guarenteed war from the start...(mwahahah)

EDIT: Eli---the scenerio I plan to use (Phoenix's) is Europe only. I figure that is more fun, because the whole map is used, and it is in detail. I'll post the list of all the playable civs later.

well how many players will there be? ill play if there are 5 or so, i dont think is a good idea to play w/ around 12 players.......oh and lets make it regiside so if lets say hitler or churchill dies the entire civ does too, also put victory point locations on places like berlin and london. if so ill play.......adn ofcourse i called gemrany first :P, we dotn have to do an acctuall re-enactment do we? we can play soviet german allience and such right

oh i will....but i am afraid japan is not an option, is a european scenario so it will have to be USSR.

Darn, you would think in WW2 that Japan (with the anniversary of Pearl Harbor bombing nearing) would be an option. Guess i'll take russia. Alliance stalin?

The problem with world maps is that the civs are usually limited (often axis and allies) and because 90% of the world is unused. In European maps, there are alot of civs playable, with alot of cities each, and its IMO more fun.

I don't want to play regicide, but I'll consider victory points. We'll make max players about 6, and no, there can be unreal alliances (but no ganging up).

:D Yes it will be fun, but I still need basic info about how to start a PBEM. I am really in the dark here, especially because it is a scenerio. I know how to do a reg map PBEM, not not a scenerio...HELP!

well heres a crash course on PBEM, go to multiplayer, adn set it on local games, then go to host, and somewhere at the top will say what kind of game or somethihng, put play by email, then in one of the next options put it on scenarios, adn a window will pop up, look fo rthe scenario and chose it, then place and name each player , and launch the game, put a password for the overall game and tehn put another one for ur civ and there u go u start when it says save now do so, and it will get closed, then e-mail it to everyone.

In game mode, you can set it as scenario so I assume that's where the scenario can be loaded fr.

PS If there's one more open slot, I'll like to be in. I'll take the Italy then (being the only major power left...).

it not 100% set yet..........but ill tell u something, u can take my palace as the axis, i have noticed taht phoenix's scenario is not exactly the best to play on, is VERY unbalanced, the axis have so much power they can take all of europe even moscow in one turn. so ill make my own pbem.

Damn, we just lost another player, you sure you don't want to play KD? Oh, and while this scenerio is techincally unbalanced, remember that in the real war, the Axis did have a very large advantage, so this scenerio is pretty realistic. Anyways, everyone needs to PM me their emails.
