View Full Version : Anyone like The Sims? puglover Nov 26, 2002, 05:01 PM Does anybody like The Sims? Dell19 Nov 27, 2002, 09:32 AM Its quite good and there have been several threads on the game in this forum but you will find some more discussions on forums dedicated to the Sims... puglover Nov 27, 2002, 12:09 PM Have you gotten to 10 caerrer level Dell19 Nov 27, 2002, 12:32 PM No I got bored of the game quite quickly and level 10 means playing the game properly... puglover Nov 27, 2002, 05:44 PM I've gotten there twice I think. It lasted me about 2 months which to me is wonderful! :) WillJ Nov 27, 2002, 11:32 PM I've grown tired of the Sims, although it was a great game, and I may get Vacation and/or Unleashed for Christmas, in hopes of that renewing my interest. And I've never gotten to the 10th career level. puglover Nov 28, 2002, 01:31 PM I have Vacation AND Unleashed! I want no more expansions. LL and HP are weird! VinCaiden Nov 29, 2002, 07:12 AM Sims was OK but the novelty of completely controlling a person's life wears off after a while. I prefer completely control a nation. go CivIII spycatcher34 Nov 29, 2002, 08:49 AM I love the sims, I dont play too mych anymore. I have ALL xpacs and have gotten to the top of every career. :) puglover Nov 29, 2002, 02:39 PM Have you gotten kinda creative with your Sims? One I made is acually a spy spying for the Soviet's Rebirth by taking over SimCity. It will not work though :D spycatcher34 Nov 29, 2002, 05:35 PM LoL yeah, I role-play with mine too... Like two guys living together same are like roomies not brothers.. I wish they'd let you have diff last names for each person. Ah well. What's your favourite career paths? I like the military one it's easy to advance too and gets you a lot of dough early on, although the top job only pays like 840 a day. puglover Nov 30, 2002, 01:39 PM Originally posted by spycatcher34 LoL yeah, I role-play with mine too... But I also like Animal Care. napoleon526 Nov 30, 2002, 07:21 PM I'm no good at this game. Then again, maybe I should try to control my own life before I try to control an innocent computer simulation's. Furry Spatula Dec 02, 2002, 03:48 AM I dont like it that much, It gets boring pretty fast. I'm not good at managing all the people so i can't get enough friends. meh, no big loss though. I've started up Quake 3 again. If i only had a better vid card so i could play that Recon something or something Recon game. The Tom Clancy one. That would be fun multi player style, sigh, me and my lack of money and time. VinCaiden Dec 02, 2002, 07:20 AM Furry Spatula, its Ghost Recon. thought you might have wanted to know. Its not bad either. --"Bored in Canada"--Furry Spatula --"More bored in Newfoundland"--VinCaiden Steve Winer Dec 05, 2002, 12:23 PM Yes, I love the Sims. Got all of the Sims games and waiting for the next one to come out.:) puglover Dec 05, 2002, 01:07 PM Do you have the Sims Online? I can't afford the monthly fee because I'm too young to have a fulltime job. Silverflame Dec 27, 2002, 02:02 PM It was really fun at first, but then it got boring too fast. And all those expansions are just crazy, since theres like a new one every month. Dell19 Dec 28, 2002, 04:44 AM Its funny when you walk into a shop and there is a whole shelf dedicated to the Sims and all its expansions. CivGeneral Dec 28, 2002, 10:31 AM It is fun to Play the sims :). I have the Vanilla Sims and all of the Expantion packs :D. hbdragon88 Jan 01, 2003, 01:23 AM My passion for the Sims lasted from August 3, 2001 to around May 2002. I liked Hot Date but thought Vacation was a total rip-off off of Hot Date and that led me to think that it was all about sales and crap, not about the game itself. It was released four months after Hot Date...which led me to believe... I like Civ 3 a lot better because it's less of a strain on my computer. It considerably slows when I enter Downtown (the Sims) wheras Civ 3 rarely slows down. puglover Jan 01, 2003, 01:33 PM I would get HD but my parents would look at me like I lost my mind. |
