#5 is a remotely controlled devise for destroying tanks - cant remember the damn name though.

#6 is either a Valentine or a Matilda tank (I'd go with the Matilda if I had to make a choice)

#10, seems to be a radio with an integrated pillow. Very clever :yeah:.

not a Belknap - they had a 5"/42 mount on the quarterdeck, this ship's helo deck runs to the stern.

not Iron Duke, although they do look alike. The arrangement of the secondary armament differs, though - this ship has 2 guns facing forward on the lower deck, and two on the upper - the Duke has 4 on a lower level and a single gun above that. There are also funnel differences, which are hard to make out from the angle of the pictures.

THE andrea doria or some ship with the same name? I don't recall the andrea doria having guns, a helipad or even being a piece of military hardware... I guess it's possible that they named a ship after her though

Edit: I just remembered the name of #10 - could it be the MILAN system?

1. Those are two guesses really.
2. #8 is indeed a Fritz-X missile/bomb.

that would only leave #1 "unsolved" but in fact puts jeriko one in the lead unassailably, and in fact one of the two guesses was correct.

She is, in fact, HMS Canada. Very, very, similar to the Iron Dukes, being built at the same time. Less so to Hood - you can just make out Q turret in the picture, if you know where to look :).

So, giving Jeriko credit for tracking down #1, that gives the final standings:
