CivGeneral Dec 03, 2002, 07:13 PM New Build Queues
Gunningheim - Granary, Barracks, Temple (Rush Build if nessicary)
Worker Orders by Gunningheim: Mine the mountans that is located NW of the worker.
Naerva - Granary, Temple (Rush Build if nessicary)
Valhalla - Pikeman, Library, Pikemen
Kuhkaff - Settler, Library (Rush Build if nessicary ), Temple (Rush Build if nessicary )
Cyc Dec 04, 2002, 02:24 AM As Mayor of Kuhkaff, I am very happy to see Cultural improvements in our build queue. May the North Province become the Cultural Stronghold of our Nation.
FortyJ Dec 06, 2002, 04:35 PM I would also like to propose the following changes to build queues:
Kuhkaff (6) Library (2), Settler (5), Temple (10)
Doing so will allow us to begin harvesting those gems in those mountains and save the Settler in Eklektochtitlan from traveling all the way from the southern frontier.

Excellent Proposal :).

Your Request has been approved and added to the list :). I would like to see this settler settle by the gem mountans :).
Cyc Dec 06, 2002, 06:44 PM CG, as Mayor of Kuhkaff, I request that you enter a post in the new Budget thread by 40J to get the Library being built in Kuhkaff rushed. It will only take 48g and will quicken the Settler we all want to see take the Gem Mountains location.

Ill get on that ASAP :). One Library Rush Build Comming up ;).
Paalikles Dec 08, 2002, 10:42 AM CG - as mayor of Naerva, I would like to suggest that an university is put into the build queue for my city.
The GL is obsolete - we need a place of learning - a "palace of knowledge"
Our current cultural influence, as of 340AD is 2, and we are close to Denver. An university would then better the odds of Denver turning to its rightful side - ours.
Right now, our production is 6 (7-1waste) - but we have a civ-trait bonus on construction of scientific buildings, so it should not take too long to finish.
As to when to implement it into the queue - rather sooner than later.
Paalikles Dec 08, 2002, 10:49 AM We need to appoint a mayor for the city of Androbius
CivGeneral Dec 08, 2002, 11:00 AM I am way ahead of you Paalikles ;). I have been planing on adding universities to all of the build queues in this provance :). I do agree howeever that we need to culture flip Dallas. Ill post the Build Queue update later today :) (Possibly around 2:00pm EST :) ).
In other news:
Mayor possition is open for the city of Androbius. Pleae eather Post yor intrest here or PM me :).

Cyc Dec 12, 2002, 02:00 AM I have seen our list of future projects funded by the Governor and it shows that after we complete our Temple this next t/c, we are due to receive a University (this is more great news). This is followed by a barracks, then city walls, and a pikeman. As the Mayor of Kuhkaff, I'm going to propose to you that after the Temple, we produce an Aqueduct so we can grow as a city should with a new supply of fresh water. Then we can build the barracks to upgrade our garrison to pikeman. After the barracks, I believe would be the appropriate time for the University, and it should by followed by a Marketplace.
Our city will grow to a size 6 in 13 turns and then be ready to grow beyond that in 20 turns. Completion time for an Aqueduct started after our Temple is finished is 25 turns from now. This would be perfect timing for growth as we would have the Temple for keeping our citizens happy, a Library for keeping them Culturally in step, and the next growth cycle would be 2 turns away. As a city, we will expand Cuturally in 22 turns, so speeding the construction of a University is not really needed at this time. Growth is. If we follow the Aqueduct with a Barracks, we can upgrade our garrison instead of building a pike. We will be building muskets soon anyway, so the Barracks should be next. Then comes the University for Culture, followed by the Marketplace for the influx of luxuries and the economic growth. As you probably know, City Walls only benefit a city defensively until they grow to size 7, so I would recommend taking them out of the queue altogether.
I hope you agree with my projected build queue. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks,
Cyc
Mayor of Kuhkaff
CivGeneral Dec 13, 2002, 05:04 PM Ill add thoes to your city's build queue. Thanks for your input Cyc :).

Eklektikos, I have included the instructions for Optimisation of the cities in this provance. It seams that they should say the same since I have experimented ways on how to get more shields without effecing the food gathering and growth and found out that it is impossible to get the optimimal amount of shields with out effecting the food production :(.

Sorry about that, Ill fixit ASAP.
Cyc Dec 22, 2002, 01:45 PM The build queue we had in place should last the t/c. We definitely don't want a Settler. Be sure to move that citizen from the mountain to a hill for the food.
Plexus Dec 22, 2002, 01:51 PM I dunno, I kinda want to fill out Shouri... erm... Sugar and Spice, I think a few more settlers would be good and then we should stop.
Cyc Dec 22, 2002, 01:59 PM Well then Plexus, I suggest you pull those Settlers out of a city that is size three or four. Not one that just built its Aqueduct.
