hy mrs. governor,
welcome in our fine province, hope you moove your home to the capitol morgana soon. you will be well protected by lancre forces, and we will soon send a personal guard troop over to your house to ensue security.

i wish to give you notice about a poll concerning morgana build queues...:
http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=37468

it was pretty conclusive showing populace to want a "horseman-pikeman-other" pattern of the queue.

as other, i would think of "library-temple" for the moment.

i also think we should get morgna up pop-wise soon, so we can max out the production. for this we will need to send workers to work on our tiles...

Suggested Build Queues:
[c] = current

Morgana - Change to: Horseman[7], Pikeman[8], Library[10]
Strider's Haven - [c]Horseman[2], Barracks[4]. Pikeman[6]
Penguin - [c]Horseman[7], [c]Pikeman[15]
Dacula - [c]Horseman[13], [c]Barracks[10]
The Burrow - [c]Pikeman[1], Barracks[3], Horseman[4], Temple[7] (should we rush this?)
Palanthus - Horseman[12]
Padmativa - Change to Temple[22] (rush?)
New PDX - Library[19]

Micromanage:

Morgana: Just let it grow for now.

Stider's Haven: Place worked tiles as the diagram shows: (Growth will be halted, but it gives us an extra shield, and prevents the city from rioting after it grows).

http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads2/SH_Fanatika_270AD.jpg

Penguin: Place the worked tile on the roadless forest to the coast. Those shields are doing nothing, but the coast will net us one more gold in that city.

Dacula: Place the worked tile 1SW of Dacula on the coast. There's no more available shielded tiles for it to use, and even though it slows growth by 1 turn, it give us 1 more gold to work with.

The Burrow: Move the worked tile on the wheat to the forest tile east of the city. It's at size 6, so its' growth is stemmed, and that one gold the wheat is generating is corrupted. But, it will give us more shields.

Palanthus: Move the worked tile on the roadless grassland one south to the coast. We get 1 more gpt, and it slows down its' growth slightly (it will probably riot when it grows)

Padmativa: On turn 1, make sure the next worked tile is on the gold hill.

Governor: I have tried to no avail to round up support for Culture in Penguin. I feel that it could benifit from expansion. Please let me know your thoughts on this.

@chieftess: please officially recognize me as mayor of morgana. i now request the second time that you change your city index to reflect this.
also strider is mayor of striders haven... also not mentioned... maybe you need to have a small inspection travel through your province to learn to know your mayors? i could invite you to a round-trip.

also: where is the worker? we will need another food-point next turn for our new citizen. the former governor promised to put a worker on a tile for irrigation to produce extra food... now where is this "phantom"-worker?

Governor Chieftess,

As acting Military Leader, I request that you change build queue instructions for the city of Palanthus. In order to keep tabs on our new enemy Persia, I would like to send a galley down the gulf's eastern coast to monitor any naval encroachment on their part so we can have time to prepare for an attack.

Palanthus is currently producing a library. While I am aware of our dire need for culture, I request that you change production to galley and have it rush built for 32g. Then you can continue the queue as planned. For expediency, I will post the budget request for your approval. Thank you.

Citizens of Taliesin, due to the cancelation of the allience by the English, I ask everyone to be viligant, as they are in our territory. In the event of war, all cultural builds will be suspended to defend the eastern front.

Madame CT: Please remember that the Penguin harbor is an esential not only for the city, but as a place to build veteran Naval units, should the time ever arise.

I have posted a three part poll regarding utilisation of our Great Leader: What should we use Richthoffen for? (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=39230), if the FP, where? (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=39232) and if the Palace, where? (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=39233) Please vote in all these polls ASAP if you wish to make your voice heard before tonight's turn chat! :)

Current build queues for the province.

WARNING!!!!: In the event that Taliesin goes into war mode, as we could become the Eastern War Front in the even of an English attack, much of these queues would be delayed for the duration of the war. I ask all citizens to be viligant and on alert.

Palanthus - Temple (rush 188g), Barracks(5), Pikeman(8), Pikeman(8)
The Burrow - [c]Knight(1), [c]Pikeman(3), [c]Pikeman(3), Catapult(2), Catapults(2)
Dacula - Switch to Courthouse(38) (will rush next turn chat if we have enough gold)
Tarkingrad - [c]Temple(14), [c]worker(5), [c]Barracks(~10)
Strider's Haven - [c]Knight(5), [c]Temple(10), [c]Worker(2)
Morgana - [c]Library(8), [c]Temple(15)
New PDX - [c]Barracks(8), Pikeman(15)
Penguin - [c]Harbor(3), [c]Courthouse(40 - canidate for later rushing)

Micromanagement/Worker Instructions -

Tarkingrad still needs a road 1 north of the town.
Strider's Haven needs a mine and road 1 NE of the city

Turn 0 - War Prevention

Move the Vet Spear from Palanthus to defend the workers to the west
Move the knight from The Burrow 3 tiles SE to defend those workers

Turn 1 - Happiness Check

Watch Palanthus, it might riot on this turn.

Dacula expands on this turn, see if you can move teh tile on the roaded grasslands to the coast. We may or may not get 1 more gpt out of it.

New PDX expands this turn, but keep the worked tiles in the lake and on the mined incense so it can build the barracks quicker

Why bother with a galley? We're on a megacontinent.

Donovan Zoi (acting/deputy military leader) asked for one so he can keep tabs on the coast during the Phony Persian War. Seems like a reasonable request. Much better than buying allies against Persia anyway. :)

The only difference is, the sea is 3-4 times larger than the one in the first demogame. But, I will try to stick one in there. I may try to get some growth builds in before the Chinese troops move up. Our province seems to be a strategic location.
