How do you move hidden files from one folder to another?

Unhide them first of all. Which OS are you using?

How do you unhide them? I'm using Windows 98.

This might not be exact because I'm on NT right now, but...

open 'my computer'
view...folder options
click the 'view' tab
there should be an option in there to 'show all files'

Cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
Stir and enjoy.

Thanks very much. It was not under My Computer, so i was gonna search for it, and it happened to be listed under Search.

You can do that under DOS console with attrib -h *.*

Check under Windows Explorer-Tools-Folder Options, I think that's where it was in Win 98

I hope you remember not to accidentally delete or move any of those files because it can affect your system and / or make it crash.
