I have played my first 5 MP games now and i had some real good fun, but there is plenty of bad/weird players out there.
Golden rules for what you should NOT do.
----------------------------------------------------------------
4:eek:
1. Call the host a idiot/loser and so on cause you got a bad ping and he dont whant you to play in the game.

2. Prevent others from starting their game.

3. Suddenly leave a game without warning.

4. Leave the game when you think you cannot win.

5. Download stuff while playing.

6. Restart your machine when you lose the game (Host).

7. Lie abouth the version you have installed.

It's true. One guy bailed, and then my rig locked up, just now.

Doing wonders for my lobby reputation, dammit!

Fighting a losing battle can be alot more fun than building a thriving empire without conflict.

I don't understand why so many people think winning is more important than playing.

I mean, has anybody even made it to the industrial age in an MP game anyway?

It is more likely people with skills will play longer.... check out my "emporers club" thread.
