I have and love Railroad Tycoon II Platinum edition and have always wanted to try a MP game.

I did try with some danish players a few months ago but we could not get a good connection established.

If anybody from the USA/Canada would like to give it a go, write back.

I've got it, but haven't installed it yet, gimme a week to figure out whether it's worth it or not! ;)

Warning Flatlander Fox: when I bought the game, after a confused day or two getting the hang of it, I launched into a 20 hour a day playing spree that lasted about three weeks. If my inlaws hadn't come for a visit, I would still be playing, but I used the hiatus to uninstall and go back to Civ3 (which, being turn based, is easier to stop at some point... believe it or not).

It is very addictive! And the music will ring in your head long after you uninstall...

I haven't played it in quite a while, but Railroad Tycoon II is a great game. I might be up for MP if given a little time to get back up to speed...

i have rt2, but not the platoon edition and i will also be gone from this computer (and it's wonderful connection) from the end of this week to the beginning of january.

So why are you telling us this? ;)

good question, i don't really know. maybe because you should tell me that i can get platinum edition by this or that way or that i don't need platinum edition to play mp or something like that... ;)

Well, shucks, Im not down with Swedish mercantilism, but I got RRT2P from Wal Mart for 10 US dollars.

However, even if you did have it, I mentioned that I had real problems trying to play against dudes in Denmark.

I don' tthink regular interfaces with Platinum.
