I've been out of the GOTM for a few months now, because of school. I haven't been around these forums since late September. I have finals this week and I'll be free for about a month.

I decided to give this GOTM a shot. So I come into the forums to look around and make sure nothing was different and it seems everything has changed (that's not a bad thing). First of all, the GOTM police was only just beginning when I left. Now it is a fully functional entity, bent on curbing cheaters' malevolent schemes. Good to see.

PTW is now out (it wasn't even on the radar when I left). I'm glad GOTM hasn't made the switch yet, allowing me to hold off as long as I can (poor college student).

Also, the biggest change I discovered was that our beloved Matrix has resigned. I see that Cracker has taken hold of the GOTM reigns. I remember him from reading the forum posts and he seems to be a worthy successor. The most important characteristic of a successor is devotion to the game. Cracker seems to have that.

P.S. - Matrix is still on-the-scene. He's discovered something wonderful called "GOTM admin / life balance" :)

He's managed to reduce his workload dramatically by letting Cracker take over much of the organisational activity, but he's still around to contribute and share his experience.
