Why will it be the best of the series?
Simple, the easy to install mod interface via steam makes this a world easier for
the end user to sample hundreds of different mods.
In addition those who will endeavor to improve game balance, add civs, UI improvements- will certainly influence the design of future patches. 2k games
cannot and will not ignore these important design improvements and bug fixes. Its a brilliant win/win actually.
Yes *we* are doing a bit of beta testing, but 2k games has effectively spent their gold on a research agreement with the common public- and its sure to pay off.
If you have not taken the time to learn the new mod installation process, please take some time to examine and learn it. Its not that difficult and REALLY adds alot to your CiV experience. IMHO any review/eval of CiV V that doesnt include this facet of gameplay is missing the most important point.
