Play in a single continent that forms a circle with a sea in the middle.

Map script can generate maps that contain very long mountain ranges, and many mountains. Due to the way it generates the circle, many random lakes can appear. Amount of lakes can be decreased with custom map option.

Several things are guaranteed by this map script:

Multiple random paths around circle
Ability to circumnavigate the globe over the middle sea

This map script uses default resource generator. You can select Temperature, Rainfall, Resources and reduce number of lakes.

Changes in version 2:

Avoid huge amounts of land with snow in arctic region
On smallest map, exit from middle sea to ocean was not always completely generated
Ensure there is a land near every sea resource at least 3 tiles away from it
Much smaller probability of unreachable tiles trapped inside mountain ranges
Multiple exits from middle sea can happen randomly now

Looks great!

I especcialy like that there are a few channels to split continents. There's going to be some great D-day like invasions there. Going to try this one soon.

Really nice map script, I like it!

There seems to be a tendency to put most of the players on one hemisphere and city states on the other half-circle. Is this intentional, and how can I change that so they are more mixed together? Otherwise great job!

Yeah, I noticed it too. It seems like default Firaxis placement is buggy.

If you're using Biggest Landmass placement method while the script generates multiple large landmasses, this is probably the reason. Change regional division method from 1 to 2.
