Does anyone here play this game? I just purchased Asheron's Call: Dark Majesty and was wondering how everyone likes it? I decided to go with AC1 over AC2 because of the lower system requirements (AC1 needs 333MHz processor versus AC2 which needs a 733MHz processor...since I have a 750 Duron).

Wow a whole lot of no one plays it! I figured at least one person did.

Well, I have played it for about 3 hours so far and it is more fun that EverQuest (EQ) but the graphics don't seem any better. The worlds are a lot less crowded than EQ...so less crowded that is actually feels lonely. :-D But, that could be cause I am in the begining of the game in a small city and not a huge one. I am thinking of getting AC2 when I upgrade my puter....I hear there are no NPCs in that version! It will be interesting to see how that works out.

I don't play such online games like EQ, AC etc though, despite being an avid RPG fan. Main connection and time issues. Like floppa once said, "At the end of a long day at work, I ain't coming home to play online and got beaten by some school punk who got more time to play...." or something to that effect... :D

Funny...but you got me all excited thinking that someone else played the game, darn you! ;)

I like to brighten up someone's day... if only for a minute or two. :p

I don't like paying 10 bucks a month to play a game that I already paid 50 bucks for.

Well, I paid $19.99 for it plus taxes and I am now sending in the $20 mail-in rebate plus I get a free month of play....not a bad deal in my mind. :)

I couldn't find it in the biggest multimedia store in town...

That sucks, i looked forward to getting it for x-mas.

I play Asherons call. I gotta level 70 exteme 3 schooled UA on Darktide. AC2 is kinda lame right now, its just starting out. Its a step up in Graphics and whatnot, but a step down in gameplay. So its probably better that you got AC1 anyway.
