You know if you click on a link in IE you get a dotted border around the image? Well it doesn't always happen on my system. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. It isn't dependent on the page - it will happen on page and then not happen on the same page the next time I visit it.

Anyone know why? I'm sure it started only when I upgraded to XP and IE6. Previously, the border always showed.

Go to "tools" then click on the advanced tab. The make sure you check the box "Show image placeholders"
